A bit of history.
Founded in 1964, the Spring Concert began as the University’s annual celebration of a successful school year. The multi-artist festival is historically hosted on Columbia’s Low Steps and draws unrivaled energy on campus. Beyond the colloquial “Bacchanal” event, Bacchanal is a student organization supporting the Columbia music community through events and programming.
Past performers include Kanye West, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Rae Sremmurd, SOPHIE, Doechii, Bakar, Ty Dolla Sign, and so many more…
Battle of the Bands takes place in early spring to showcase student talent and give students a chance to vote for the Spring Concert opener. Stay tuned on the Bacchanal Instagram for more information on how to sign up.
